This is the 2015 version and only 3600 bottles were
made. It is a mix of sherry and bourbon casks. Some fresh grass, maybe heather,
salt and light honey notes on the nose.
The taste is full classic Springbank expressions.
Raisins, oak, salt and light citrus. It has a gentle dark fruity finish. Just
staying there being nice – with a mild peaty touch.
This is just pleasant and smooth. Not Glenlivet smooth, but very smooth for a Springbank. I will rate this 91/100 (22/23/23/23).
